National Social Report 2014

The National Social Report (NSR) is an EU policy reporting document prepared by Member States for submission to the European Commission in April 2014. The NSR relates to the open method of co-ordination on social protection, social inclusion and health and long-term care. It documents key reforms in these areas, particularly from July 2013 to June 2014.

The Department of Social Protection is responsible for co-ordinating the NSR with other supporting Departments. Ireland’s NSR for 2014 was submitted to the European Commission on Thursday, 17^th April 2014.
